Who should apply?

The IB UoPeople Scholarship aims to support new or developing educators who have never received a master’s degree in an education-related field and do not have access to affordable teacher education. All IB and non-IB educators are welcome to apply.

The IB will be awarding scholarships to students who submit applications that demonstrate a commitment to education, their local community, and the IB mission and pedagogy. Some preference will be given to applicants who: are working in an IB World School; intend to work in an IB World School; or have completed the IB DP, CP or MYP programme.

Our scholarship recipients will receive funding for UoPeople’s Master of Education in Advanced Teaching (M.Ed.) course assessment fees needed to complete the degree and transfer credit fees (if applicable), and UoPeople will waive the application fee.
